The African Wilderness

My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

South Africa | Friday, September 3, 2010 | 5 photos

Imagine living in a remote area of the Kruger National Park, where the tourist dare to tread. The concession camp of Makuleke, bordering Zimbabwe, Mozambique and South Africa, known as crook's corner, where the fever tree's thrive and provide a unique aromatic air...

A place where the heat of the summer requires regular afternoon showers and even the occasional morning shower to cool down.

The birds of the wild love this place, it is a place apart of the rest of the world, where survival instincts is the political playground of the animals.

Yes, Africa, a remote place, where one can stray across a little boy with little trust for the modern man whom he has not seen before. This is the real Africa. Dare to adventure where tourists fear to tread, a place where your mind, body and soul becomes one and instincts prevail.

This is the amazing story of Birds living in Africa and their wonderful chronicles across the plains.
