My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Exploring has always been a passion of mine, from wondering the garden as a child with my father's archaeology gear to volunteering in West Africa. I believe the best class room comes with every stamp and visa as we are able to experience another culture, lifestyle, and geographical terrain. The click of camera does not only capture one subject in time, but tells a story that can expand the minds for future generations. Being selected would continue my passion for travel and making a deference along the way. The best feeling in the world is waking up in an area that is so foreign that makes you question why you are here but soon, you realizes why you are here; the people, the laughter, the gorgeous landscape. It all makes sense, it's time to share this experience one click at a time and to help future generations understand the importance of what our world holds, why we need to cherish our lands and oceans, and how great it is to see these magical places with our own eyes.
