My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Photography was always around my life, even when I was just a kid during trips to the zoo or my grandmas farm. I gave a lot of work for my parents and teacher during these trips, often escaping from the group to take a different photo, of course that at the age of nine I didn't think about better angles or compositions, perhaps I did it just for the adventure.
As I was growing I started to get interest by how people live in different places, what was behind the headlines. So I got one edition of the “Russian Journal” by Steinbeck and illustrated with Capa’s images, more interested in the stories than the pictures, but it made me realize that pictures tell more stories than words.
In each trip I took, I learned a little more, developed some new techniques, and always tried to capture the people lives, without influence it. In my last trip I went all the way from my parents house to Uruguay by bicycle, the best way to have contact with people. This trip to Greenland would give me the experience to see realities completely different for mine, but learn from Jason would be my best gift, as I never studied photography and do it at the field, with some adventure, would be extraordinary.
