My name is Roberta and I am a 24 years old Brazilian travel and photography lover.

When I first saw this opportunity I couldn't believe because it is everything I could ever dream about. I love traveling and all of my income goes to that. I always take to my travelings at least 3 cameras (must say I'm a film fan) to register places,people and special moments. I think I deserve to be chosen because no one could want this as much as I do. This is a very unique and special opportunity that involves everything I am passionate about. Also, I am very used to travel in a low budget, doing trekking and bonding with people from everywhere (at least in the 20 countries I've already visited). I travel not only to see places, but to know places and to really get in touch with the local culture. I'm interested in trying to see the world as others do.

I have a thing for popular festivals, because I think they translate much of the local beliefs and personality, and that is why I chose to apply with pictures from a Brazilian festival in the tiny town of Pirinópolis. The festival is called "Festa do Divino Espírito Santo", witch means Divine Holy Spirit Festival. It happens every year in May and all the people from the small town of Pirinópolis dresses themselves and their horses with huge costumes and masks. The main atraction is an event called "Cavalhadas" witch consists in a representation of a battle between cristians and pagans.
