My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

My fond of photography started since i was eleven, it all started with me being fascinated with the idea of capturing the moment, share it and revisit whenever i want! I've always had this characteristic of being a good observer and to feel the surrounding into details so it wasn't a surprise for me to find out when i got older that the meaning of my name in Arabic is to gaze! in my opinion photography is one of the great means of documenting reality, appreciating the beauty of the universe, respecting it's diversity and acknowledging the presence and effect of creatures on this earth. I love traveling not that i had the chance to go to so many places but i've always loved the idea of getting to know other cultures and being enriched by the history and life experience of others and on the top of that being able to share all this with others, to be their third eye at the universe and this is what i want to do for the rest of my life! what i really aim to learn out of this scholarship is the hands-on skills and techniques that i lack, I'm always eager to learn and nothing would satisfy me more than learning what i love and be able to finally practice my real passion. My photos was taken from my visit to Boston, Massachusetts in USA on December 2006 and October 2010, i've always loved old cities , buildings and what i really liked in Boston is the simple beauty of nature, the blending mixture of old and new. i wanted to capture what i felt the essence of the place and expressing the taste and general feeling of preserving the past and celebrating the present. two of the places that i wish to go to in the future is Ireland and India, to be able to explore their heritage of culture and capture all this. Many thanks.
