Travelling through Laos in 2007, I came across breathtaking simplicity and beauty. The raw and natural living conditions of the people in Laos contrasts with the life many of us live in the Western world.
The colours of Laos are amazing, from the brown muddy Mekong that lines forests of deep green to the brightly patterned Lao skirts women wear walking down the street. I wish I was a more capable photographer that could have done justice to the beauty that surrounded me.
The beauty of the people in Laos comes from inside - they are gentle and kind. This shows in everything they do, including inviting travellers to share their homes and stories.
I wish life could always be this simple and connected to nature.
