Dressed in their prayer robes, two Buddhist nuns had a brief conversation before entering a temple inside the monastery. 

This was the time when I was already starting to establish relationships with the nuns. The nuns already knew of my presence in their community and even with the language barrier they have been nothing but kind and gentle about my presence. I had been striking conversations with them thanks to my tuktuk driver who acted as my translator.

I had been striking conversations with them thanks to my tuktuk driver who acted as my translator. When I saw this photo while file organizing, it eventually became my "darling" out of the the set because of the opposing hand gestures that created an interesting balance to the image.
