My name is Rico, an analyst with an international banking firm in Manila. A picture paints a thousand words and taking great photographs proves that point. I photograph because it is like capturing a moment in time you know you will never be able to go back to.
Capturing great photos of those moments in time gives me a feeling of fulfillment. It is something magical to me since I was a little kid. About a couple of years ago, I bought my first entry-level camera, a Fuji HS10 and started taking serious images of every places I go to including the things and people in it. The greatest inspiration for me is the love of nature and to be actually out there, feel that wholesome experience and document the sense of place. I have always been an avid traveler throughout and I make it a point to bring home great photos every time.
What sets me apart is my tremendous passion to inspire people through my imagery on how amazing this planet is and hopefully will give them courage to go out and do something beneficial for themselves and the entire humanity. With photography running through my bloodline, I will definitely do it every single day and pass on my legacy to the next generation.
