    In the short time the team are in Port Morseby not everyone makes the list. On the final day I found this young family still hopeful and waiting for surgery. Christ depicted as a saviour to the people perfectly reflected the medical team and their mission. by: richbullo Views[265] My favorite picture. Operation Open Heart have been coming to PNG for 18 years. Great friendships have developed between locals and visitors. Birthdays are celebrated as per normal. Sort of. by: richbullo Views[387] Beigan had a PNG flag on one cheek and aussie flag on the other. He was just two days post open heart surgery and up and about laughing and causing trouble. Amazing. by: richbullo Views[361] Heart surgeons are human beings but I think we expect them to perform like machines, without error or emotion. These guys were doing seven to eight open heart operations a day. by: richbullo Views[222] Waiting on the ward. Children come from all over PNG for heart surgery.
