My name is Ricardo and I'm a citizen of the world. I've been a scout for 25 years and our founder, Baden-Powell, always referred to scouts as citizens of the world, explorers of the unknown, finders of happiness, and I try to live up that ideal.
I'm also a journalist with a tendency for photography, specially travel photography. I love to tell stories, and I travel not only for myself, but to be able to show others the amazing world in which we live in.
When I travel, I feel I'm a part of this world. Nothing is mine to keep, all is mine to explore, discover and share with others. I'm always open to new adventures, specially those which allow me to grow more as a person or to expand my horizons and, therefore, expand the horizons of everyone who reads my stories or sees my photos.
I'm also a fast and avid learner. Every step you take up the stairs of your life takes you one step forward, but never to a final destination. I have dreams and goals, but achieving them is always reason to set up new goals in life, never to lean back and relax at the shadow of my apparent success. So, I'm eager and ready to learn from Jason and to do my best at the assignment I'll receive in Greenland.
