My name is Clarissa DiGioacchino. I am a proud Canadian, born and raised in southern Ontario. Photography always been a hobby that I am extremely passionate about. I was granted the opportunity to spend the entirety of my first year of university living in Europe. I took this opportunity to build my portfolio. I focus primarily on architecture and landscapes. Although, I am currently working as a photojournalist at my university to gain experience in the portraiture field. If granted this incredible opportunity, I believe I would be given the learning experience of a lifetime. I am currently working towards a degree in Art History with a minor in Biology. To experience one of the worlds most incredible biodiversity hotspots and to be able to capture every moment would be a dream come true. I am eager to learn and train alongside Jason Edwards. Working for National Geographic has been a dream of mine for years. I believe that, if chosen, I would be able to benefit entirely from this opportunity. To be given the opportunity to expand my photographic skill set while also being immersed in such a biologically diverse area of the world would be an absolute honour and incredible adventure.
