My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
Greece | Monday, January 14, 2013 | 5 photos
Ever since I was a child, I used to carry around a compact camera. I loved capturing moments, faces and feelings, from my own unique perspective. Soon it became a need to capture with a single click all the love, happiness or sorrow that existing around me.
In 2009, I got a job in Myconos, a Greek island, which is a part of the Cyclades complex.
Working there gave me the opportunity to discover the energy and the light of this island, (as well as) the costums and the ways of living of the local inhabitants. All of the above urged me to discover a deeper need for a cleaner vision and to realize that this was the appropriate time to invest to my hobby. This eventually led me to the never ending journey of photography, living inside the colors, the faces and the senses of Greece.
My love and passion for life and photography never ends, in most parts they are the same.
My belief is that I can imprint reality and its surrounding beauty and that I have the will, ability and perspective that though my camera lenses and shouts I can create living images and feelings into others.
