Before attending University I embarked upon two courses in photography, which was where I developed a greater passion and flair for it. Since leaving University I have been building my portfolio with a range of shoots from events to studio sessions with mothers and their newborns. As a direct result of my experience at University, my work has been greatly influenced by directors and painters. Having edited films to bring together a storyline and watch it become something great, photography really appeals to me as you have one shot to make it a masterpiece, its a challenge I happily accept.

I would like to apply for this once in a lifetime opportunity to gain invaluable experience in this field. Having completed my studies at university I have had little outside of education experiences in film or photography and I feel that this would be the perfect opportunity to establish myself. I am fond of animals and love to travel so this would be a fantastic opportunity for me to showcase my present skills and understanding whilst developing new skills. Learning new techniques by working alongside a professional wildlife and natural history photographer would be a dream come true.
