Children standing next to sliced devil's claw tuber drying in the open air. Devil's claw is a high-value plant sustainably harvested within the park and sold to buyers who use it in traditional medicine.

Thatching reeds on a building. Many homes within the park are either all reed or a combination of reed and clay. Reeds are thatched by hand using twine to bind them together.
