    This woman is the sister of one of the 3 final families who still live in the famous kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. She visits her sister daily to shell almonds that her sister can then sell to tourists in order to be able to support herself and her ailing husband. Views[379] A nomad is bringing his camels to a popular tourist area in Merzouga. Behind him is the majestic Sahara Desert. Views[261] During my 4 X 4 excursion over the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi in the Sahara, a local boy was walking his pet, which just happens to be a desert fox. Views[903] On Christmas Eve 2010, the group I was travelling with rode camels into the Sahara to spend the night in a nomad camp. Nothing like waking up on Christmas morning to watch the sun rise of the Sahara. Views[460] There was a big storm coming into Essaouira so the fisherman pushed all their boats together into the harbor and tied them together so that they wouldn't be lost or damaged to much in the coming storm.
