World Nomads Scholarship is an amazing opportunity, as I see it as a perfect step forward in turning my passion for travelling, storytelling and adventurous filmmaking into a profession from which I hope to make a living one day. Colourful Colombia is a country I've always had an enormous amount of affection for and it's been on my bucket list for many years. With the help of World Nomads scholarship and under the mentorship of recognized director Brian Rapsey, I'd like to create a travel documentary that will document the story of Pacific community and will promote Colombian tourism through dynamic moving images, presenting stories from Colombian people, their culture, history, culinary art, wildlife and other biodiverse hotspots.
As a scholarship recipient, I would seize this fantastic opportunity into full potential, by bringing an amazing amount of creative ideas, a great deal of enthusiasm and original storytelling skills. Furthermore, I want to learn from industry professionals and join my creative forces with them by immersing myself into the travel documentary adventure that will make creative blood flowing in such a vibrant environment. I’m aware that this scholarship will have a strong affect on my future career, because gaining beneficial experience and expanding geographical horizons are perfect platforms for turning my adventurous filmmaking passion into profession.
