My name is Raffaella, I live in Italy and don't know why but I need to know.
Photography for me is the way to know others and I think that it let me and my thinking get in touch with people and energies that are a little bit in the deep.
Two eyears ago I quit my job in a big company and start a new experience as freelance in Infomation technology area, in order the dedicate much time to travel and photography and last year I was travelling for four months in South east Asia, around Burma, Cambodia , Laos , Vietnam ....
My prefered way to travel is on the road in order to have the possibility to get in touch as well as possible with people and real life.
I know is not so simple to start a new professional life as a photographer so last year I join a "reportage course" to get a better rational way
to set up my new photographer work. I'm also trying to improve my english with an english course.
I think that the experiance with Jason, for me, will be the possibility to pratically see how a fieldwork is in real : so Is just what I need !
I had some problems uploading photos and captions so I wrote photo's caption here:

Photo n.1:
I don't remember from when but Jenny is always been there, in the countryside at the periphery of Milan.

Photo n.2:
At the driver's seat on the camper or just outside, on a armchair sunbathing she was there for a long time,
she is more than sixteen year's old and she was there since she was twentyfive.
For her "first time" she asked 20.000 italian lira but the man understand that she was at the beginning and offered her more.

Photo n.3:
"I don't sell my body, I sell my service." she was always saying.
When I decide to meet her I was introducing myself :"Hallo, I'm not a cop...." and so she said:
"Well, Police is ok, but why are You here? Do you want to work here ? Go away ... this is my place you cannot stay here!"

She spend time waiting, smoking, reading newspapers and speaking on the phone:
She is always on the phone with other collegues, not friend, she said.


Photo n.5:
She has three children, they know about her job.
But now she is also a grandmother so she want to quit her job. Maybe in spring she will start a new life.
