My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Hello,
my name is Radmila and I'm a 26 year old graphic designer.
The photos I've made are from a brake from ordinary life,when I packed my bags and went to California. Spending 15 months on the road on my own was the best experience in my life. It was enough for me to get the travelers bug for life. I was obsessed with photography from an early age. I would take shots of everything possible to the point I was irritating to the people around me. Climbing up trees and furniture wasn't unusual,just to get the right shot.Oh boy I remember the joy of my first camera mobile phone.Taking long walks alone,just with my camera, was my favorite part of life in California.It allows you to see the details of the world in a completely different way. Even though I take shots on regular basic,I am far from being professional or making any money from it.I would love to learn more abut techniques and work with people that are professionals in the field.
One thing i don't like using on my photos ever is photoshop (although it's literally my job)
For me photography represents capturing a moment, not creating one. Photoshop is like plastic surgery. It can look good but it natural is always better.
