My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Nepal | Friday, October 8, 2010 | 5 photos

The recent place that i visited was the Swyambhunath stupa and the Boudhanath stupa in Kathmandu valley. Both the places are listed in the world heritage sites by UNESCO.These two places are the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu,Nepal.
Each of us is blessed with a potential and it needs a guiding light to take it so i applied for the scholarship.I've always wanted to travel and experience the nature, culture and the lifestyle of the people living in different geographical regions. As we know that Nepal is a mountainous country with a lot of natural treasures in it.Although having so many breathe taking places and wildlife we are still behind the world recognition.I've always dreamed of representing my country in the international platform. Not only in the name of 'Mount Everest' and 'Birth place of Buddha' we can make our door open to such places which are still unexplored. This is an only opportunity from where i can fulfill my passion for photography and a wish for travel to Bhutan.I've heard about Bhutan so many times because people say it is quite similar to our country.People follow Buddhism in Bhutan and in Nepal too and this opportunity can let me study about the way of following the religion as well as the culture and of course the wild nature.I'm an adventurous person and like to take pictures which can be a possible sequence of future events.
