My name is Rachel Wells&photography is my voice.I was awoken to the overwhelming power that photography holds as a global communicator by producing images that make an impact on the peoples of a small town or the world.I have come to find that photography is a skill& talent not knowing only technical work or by choosing the hot spot to photograph,but by connecting.By exploring places familiar or not and by becoming one with that environment&everything that comes along with it.I photograph every day,not for the sake of it,but because everyday I have the opportunity to witness something new&to capture a moment,lock in that emotion or experience in a image,share it&expose its raw reality.I believe truth is beauty&photography is my way of sharing that.I attend college to educate myself on environmental,social&cultural aspects, issues and solutions of the world so that my photography will flourish with greater knowledge behind the image.I've worked in order to fund as many opportunities as possible to further educate myself on improving my photography.This opportunity with JasonEdwards to Oman thru W.N&Nat.Geo would give my photography&I the chance to grow&become what I feel it can be.
