Rachel and I both love being in the mountains and believe that life is more about the experiences you have rather than the things you own.
Given this outlook we have taken the opportunity to blow the savings on three long trips to the hills of Europe over the past fifteen years. The first was six weeks and we left the dog (Howard) at home, the second was two years and Howard came with us and the third is still going as I write this and we are with the new dog, Hilda.
These updates are nothing more than a light hearted overview of our travels and have been written partly to give me something to do in the evening and partly to let friends and family know what we have been up to.
