I grew up in the 2nd largest city in Maine, Lewiston-Auburn. I have been so committed in helping my town that I have often overlooked what it could be like in another country. It was not until I traveled to Taiwan that I understood that I need others to see and experience what they cannot. That is why I want to photograph.
