The Bradenton Wedding

In my early twenties I visited Bradenton, just outside of Sarasota, Florida, and fell in love. The clear blue seas and white sandy beaches draw you in. Walking along the sand barefoot at sunset with my partner, I knew it was the place where we would say our marriage vows. Some years later, we returned with two children to just that. As the sun settled behind us, we stood on Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island and became husband and wife.
It is the most special place in the world to me. It may not be the place we can return to often, but every time I think of that day I can smell the fresh sea air and feel the breeze on my face. It is my happy place.
