An amateur photographer with an interest in visual art & places, I have always been fascinated with the use of one to inform reflections on the other. Experimenting with different media led me to photography as a medium to further my explorations along those lines, one that allows me to capture the people, emotions and the ‘place’-ness of a place, be it a picturesque landscape or a crowded, busy bazaar. This scholarship to Oman will enable me to further my ideas and explore them in relation to a new context and new experiences.
