europe 2013 A where we can, when we can, account of our self drive trip around Ireland-Britain-France

Gouarec - Douarnenez

Hotel Relais du Silence. I'm not sure if it's because we're the only customers, but, yes it is quiet.

We found in Italy that we wanted to eat in the evening far too early compared with the locals. 7.30 is probably still too early for them. Love Janice's new hairdo, what about your new look? We are quite cold at the moment down in Esperance on the south coast of WA. Send us some of your warm weather. Cheers

H'mm... that Aussie sun must be going to your head. That's me and my new look on the balcony of the hotel. If you want some heat you'll have to get back up into Queensland. I hear it's been good and hot up there:-) Your probably right about the eating out. Most eateries seem to only be open between 12-2pm and then later in the evening. But it's not the standard practice with every business. I'd have to stay here longer to figure it all out.
