Expresion of gratitude to God at Teluk Penyu Beach Cilacap – Central Java Cilacap- Central Java is one of lots area in Indonesia especially in Java Island which have many beach. One of them is Teluk Penyu Beach. The Society in the coastal area has unique habbit, they called "sedekah laut", its like an Expresion of gratitude to God. Every people arround this city will come and see this moment with very enthusiastically even tough this even held every year. They will prepare the ritual offering to Nyai Roro Kidul as the Queen of south seas. She is the one of myth that believes as the mediator betwen human and God.The people around there have a religion, but they believe God has mediator to touch the people through magic beings. If the Queen get angry they would get less fish and bad weather. The fisherman always believe that She would give lot of fish and good weather if they give Her ritual offering. It's contain cow head, fruit, traditional snack, and many more. Before it "throw away" into the sea, they have unique ritual, they will go arround the city so that the people can see it more closser. This event is ussualy followed by "wayang" show, which held in a week to celebrate finished even. Wayang show is another culture in Java Island, like a storry telling use media like a dool, but it have really thin shape. This event identical with comonner's party, but it's really fun to knowing this event much closser. Lot of magic, but full of togetherness in every level of society. Maybe it's actually what God want, every one deserve to life with lot of happines eventough they are comonner.
