I want to take photos that show people the beauty and wonder of the natural world, to make them care and get involved in protecting our planet. I want to share the beauty I see, especially in things people don't traditionally regard as beautiful. I want to encourage people to love and appreciate nature, and different cultures, and fill them with a desire to travel or at least learn more about what they have seen or feel grateful for what they have. My name is Kylie, I am 38, and I am addicted to wildlife and travel.

This opportunity will open my eyes for good or for bad into what travel photography “work” is like, as opposed to photographing while traveling, and hopefully reveal whether my desire to be a travel photographer has legs when it slams into reality. Personally.. I am creative, detailed, persistent, demanding of quality, a sponge for learning, and an opportunistic photographer. I grew up watching David Attenborough documentaries, and with a Kodak 110, blah blah, you know the story. I want my life to make a difference. With unspoken ongoing uncertainty and no passion in my IT role, I look to travel photography as a way of bringing together all that I am passionate about.
