Initially we should be witnessing the miracle sunrise moment on top of Mt.Batur, but due to last minute decision and not enough rest (too much Bintang beer the night before...) we gave up the plan. Actually we didn't bring the appropriate shoes as well, I'm not a hiking kaki, cannot just walk up with normal sneakers... And we slipped a few times due to the very loose volcanic soil. I know it's quite embarrasing, but I really couldn't make it through. Maybe next round. =)
