In September of 2008, the “Segundo Ano” class of Cooperativa Educacional de Caetité, took a trip to Mucugê - Bahia with the purpose of learning about that area and at the same time have fun.fez a trip to Mucugê - Bahia with the intuito of learning more on that area and at the same time to have a good time. The students were led by the best teachers of COOPEC: Ágda, Elizângela and Yone.
We left Caetité at 00:30 in the 27 and arrived to our wanted destiny at the 6 hours of the morning. At first we stopped in a gas station to have breakfast. We took advantage to collect some plants for the due bio work and to use the telephone to talk with our parents.
The students and their respective teams came out for the forest, close to the gas station, for they seek plants and accomplish the collection of the same ones, later we left in direction to the Hotel Mucugê, place where we were put up. We left our suitcases, changed the clothes, and went to the Sempre Viva project, to attend lectures and to walk in the trails. The lecture told about the beautiful and curious of Chapada Diamantina, after we left for the trail of the Tiburtino river, for the road it was possible to observe the vegetation and how the flora of the area is diversified.
Arriving on the river, there was a pause for the rest, some students entered in the water, others were admiring the landscape, taking pictures. Therefore soon they went to the Museu Vivo do Garimpo, place where rescues the history of the claim in the Chapada. After that, we left for the lunch in Andaraí. Going back to Mucugê, we visited the Santa Isabel Byzantine cemetery and later on we returned to the Hotel and arranged for a party tonight in another place. In the party, there were some setbacks that committed the rest of the trip. Returning to the hotel, teacher Elizângela asked the whole ones that go sleep, because next day would be tiresome. However, some students disobeyed and they provoked the turn earlier for Caetité. The teachers decided to cancel the route of September 28. Many didn't conform, they tried to examine the situation in the best way for possible for not happening the cancellation. But, the leaders were decided. The turn back to home was calm, but the feeling among group was tense for the whole week in the school
