"Theyyam" dancing God's of Kerala, India Theyyam is a popular Hindu ritual form of worship of North Malabar, Kerala, India. Thousands of years old traditions, rituals and customs evolved into its present form. Shooting Theyyam was a life changing experience for me.

Final staging: The performer at the last leg of his performance here. The act of dancing and walking around with more than 50 kilogram costume for three hours takes a superhuman effort. In a way he is acting like a God!
