Amid all the destruction, citizens of Prattsville still love America and are proud to hang a flag, especially a flag that has survived a hurricane.

A sign offering the most basic of supplies in front of a condemed house with a small Mickey Mouse keychain that someone salvaged from the muck and hung on a telephone pole. Who wouldn't smile at Mickey Mouse?

Renovations on ene of the few non-condemned houses is already underway. And a flag hangs out front to show patriotism and faith where both are hard to find.
