Hi. I come from a country where students first pursue graduation (engineering, medical or law) & then (if they are lucky), think about what they truly like & wish to pursue as a career. Same has been my story. I've currently finished 3rd year of engineering and have taken a year's break to pursue something I truly have come to love over the last 2 years- filmmaking.
I have over the last 2 years made couple of short films, directed college and street plays, made ad films, attended film festivals and interned as an Assistant Director under Pradeep Sarkar (a major Indian feature film director)
I've come to realize from my experiences that I truly love story telling & filmmaking and is the career I wish to pursue. Having said that, I admit that I enjoy both documentary as well as narrative cinema.
As an individual I am hard working, passionate & most importantly love thinking out of the box- being bold & creative. I am sincere and honest with my work & people I work with..
This opportunity will truly help my growth as a filmmaker, learn about story telling & documentary type filmmaking and hopefully help me find my voice as a filmmaker. I seek to learn from my mentor & the travels that I have.
