    Porto Series Porto is located in the north of Portugal. I came from Lisbon and i'm here for almost two years now, and it's been a daily discovery of the city. With these Porto Series, i would like to present the city that also belong to me now. The way i look at it

    Ribeira have a really strong community. They live a lot in the street. it's normal to see a lot of kids playing along the river. In the summer it's common to see some kids jumping from one of the most emblematic iron bridges in Porto, to the Douro River. Sometimes kids have to rest a bit... by: portoseries Views[361] Porto have a big connection with the river Douro. In the Ribeira, there is always a lot of movement. Tourists passing by, women's selling traditional objects, street artist and a lot of restaurants. This is the break of worker from one of those restaurants. in the other side of the river, we see another city, Vila Nova de Gaia, where are located the cellars of the famous Porto Wine, ageing slowly on the casks. by: portoseries Views[204] One of the things that are more valuable for me in Porto are the people. They always have a lot of energy and a smile, even if the life is hard. This pictures was take in popular party in Porto, the São João (Saint John) that take place in June. The persons from different neighborhoods of Porto make a parade in the principal avenue, make a recreation of old times. by: portoseries Views[194] This is an image that i often see when i walk around my neighborhood. A church from the XIX century stoked on the modernization of the city. This is an private church, from a rich portuguese family, that use to leave in the house next door and had their own private church. by: portoseries Views[221]
