My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

My name is Paula Markoc and I am 19 years old. I’m from Europe , from small country Croatia. I live there in the capital city Zagreb . I'm a student of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics .
I do photography for about 5 years.I realized that photography is not just a hobby it is a way of thinking in a way, because using it you realize how fast it can go away and you have to learn to appreciate every moment .I was on two short courses in amateur photography ,so I can get by with the basics, but still I'd like to learn and experience new things. Last few years we traveled a lot and I fell in love with traveling.Trips helped me better understand other countries and their people, but also to better understand my own culture.Unfortunately I just traveled through Europe(I was in Denmark,Germany,France,Czech Republic,Hungary,Italy,Austria),
because I don't have enough money for an exotic trips(half European trip were an award from the school for good grades) so I really want to get a chance to see another continent and their culture.
I'd like to go in Oman and spend unforgettable 8 days and return to Zagreb full of wonderful memories and experiences.
