En Route..Chronicles of a Traveller

I saw the instruction below saying, "keep it tight". So,I'll come directly to the point.Since I ever gathered the courage of making my first short film way back in the 11th standard,I knew this was all that I ever wanted to do.To make films, tell stories, travel the world..To Observe and to Absorb. I see engineers putting life to machines,I see Doctors saving lives. I also see the Economist trying to revive the economy and the skinny and starving potter making those wonderful pots out of wet clay.I see all of this and I think to myself,what else could I have become if not a story-teller,trying to tell tales of people and places and bring nourishment to many a long suppressed emotion,buried deep down in the vicious circle of modern life. And what better medium than films to convey such stories and reach the disturbed and comfort them. Reason why, travelling to Columbia and bringing back a bag full of stories to share with the millions here in India is not only a dream for me but, the very reason why I take up a Camera every time.I wouldn't dare say,my submission is one of the best or,it is perfect, because I am way amateur,having lots to learn. Perhaps this is precisely why I was hoping the respected Jury would give someone like me a chance because this is my honest confession that I am by all means an amateur,starving to absorb from the likes of Brian Rapsey! I once heard,there is beauty in imperfection. I guess, the great people in the Jury,might be able to tell me better.
