My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Photography has been one of my passions from an early age but life got in the way and only recently I have been able to catch up with the time and dedication needed to get some satisfactory results.
Other passions include travelling and music so as a DJ working on cruise ships I found the perfect job to travel the world and capture it through my lens.
To enter this contest and show my work is a sign that i am in the right direction but because i am mainly self taught I feel the need to be mentored to reach a higher level on my skills so this opportunity is something that I would take very seriously and even consider a career change should it become true.
