The art of making pots is so big that it even dwarfs the thoughts of life. Innocence lost to mud and clay is a part of being a member of the potter’s family, rest is all secondary to making pots.

Another day in midst of black smoke. It doesn’t matter whether the sky is clear blue or black, for the worker entrusted with the kiln the only thing that matters is that the kiln is rightly fired. Earning less than a dollar per day, the importance of two square meals makes him enjoy the day’s work even though the smoke will make him susceptible to illness like asthma, bronchitis etc..

Tricks of the trade. A young boy is learning the process of firing the kiln. This will be his sole occupation with no option of change for the rest of his life. Education starts and ends with making pots.
