    Sadhus: Monks, who are the devotees of lord Shiva in Hindu religion, enjoy taking themselves taking marijuana and other narcotic things. I caught them in this position when I was at Gadhimai festival which takes place at Bariyarpur, Bara district of Nepal every five year which is also popularly known as the festival of biggest animal sacrifice in the world. In the picture, one elderly monk decorated with the ashes preparing tobacco to share with other friends. by: pleasant Views[1412] People for water: I took this picture when I was moving around the Patan Durbar Square in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Patan Durbar Square is one of the World’s heritages in Nepal. People with their pots gather at a nearby stone-fountain to collect water since early morning. Water problem is acute in the Kathmandu valley. by: pleasant Views[662] Monkey: Hungry monkeys at the premises of Pashupatinath temple catch whatever edible things are thrown at them. When I also threw, it very cleverly caught with one hand without falling off the wall and started eating a piece of banana. by: pleasant Views[694] Dul Dul Ghoda: I took this picture near my house which is a rare view of a show when a man dances on the beat of drum by his colleague (not seen in the picture) in disguise of a horse and other colleague (also not seen) asking for money or rice to feed themselves performing the dance of horse. He also holds a long rope in the hand made of jute to produce some sharp sound to attract and entertain the people around for more money. by: pleasant Views[1719] Sarswoti Puja: Hindu students worship goddess Sarswoti for education, wisdom and knowledge with great reverence on Basanta Panchami day according to Hindu calendar. I asked them to just hold the statue, made of pure soil and decorated with various decorative things, for a minute before they were all set to immerse it into a pond. They do so after taking a rally around the town with the statue playing with red-powder on each other in joy. by: pleasant Views[888]
