Presenter: Evina
Filmmaker: Sadia

Have you ever tried a thin bed of French baguette, topped with feta cheese, dipped in Indian masala? We can assure you it’s a mind-blowing combination!

We, Sadia (India) and Evina (Greece), spent one year in a dusty old French town and discovered that there is a lot more than meets the eye in Menton. Using our journey in Menton as an example, we have a message to all travellers: peel your way through every destination; there are many layers to be unearthed.

Our duo is the perfect equilibrium of compatibility. Our strength; creating a unique lens with facets from the different cultures we represent.

Evina: My internship at the Ritz-Carlton, Barcelona, enabled me to discover every inch of the city. Also, the hospitality industry helped me meet some of the most unique world citizens. I shared personal moments with them; gained a deeper understanding of their cultures. When I can't travel, cinema becomes my peep hole into unknown cultures; distant places. This is my passion and cinema is the best way to keep this drive alive!

Sadia: I spent this summer in Istanbul interacting with individuals, with one theme in mind: Identity. I discovered multiculturalism in Istanbul and my own identity. I am a female, I am an Indian; but before that I am a cinephile. I eat, breath, sleep films - making and watching them. As an amateur filmmaker, these ten days provide me with an opportunity to absorb the Mexican culture and squeeze it out on a screen.
