Ninamary Celebrating Red Sox World Series Win
I was born with wings on my feet. I am driven to explore the world around me. When I was 9, my sister took me and my siblings to New York City. The travel bug hit me, and I have been finding ways to see the world ever since.
When I was in college, I studied in Grenoble, France. My friends and I used our Eurail passes to see Italy, Austria, the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. As an adult, I have visited Greece, Portugal and Spain. I am American, so I have also visited my neighbors in Canada and Mexico.
My goal is to viist all 50 states. I do not want to travel through each state just to say I have been there. Each journey must be unique. I must make a connection to the place. I am well on my way, but Alaska and Hawaii will prove a challenge. In May, my husband of 28 years will travel with me to Alaska. We will cruise throught he Passage and drink in the view.
The world is a big place. A small place. It depends on one's view. One thing I know. When you travel the world and connect with the local people, you learn that we are more alike than different. Travel makes the world a smaller place -- a better place.
