Sunday at Pipa Beach - Brazil

My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Brazil | Sunday, October 17, 2010 | 6 photos

After a strenuous week working as an architect and CGI artist, I invited some friends to go to the beach. The sun was bright and the sky was incredibly clean and blue, the perfect match to shoot some great pictures and train my skills as a photographer as those has helped me improve my 3d, CGI art. I grabbed my trusty camera and left to Tibau and Pipa, two beaches in Brazil’s Northeast. We made our first stop in Tibau in our two hour trip. I took my camera out of the bag and shot a nice landscape, the sun illuminating a nice view where a river makes its way to the sea. Then we were soon on our way to Pipa beach and its hills.
That place never ceases to amaze me! A wonderful set of reddish sandstone hills with the beach way down. We can endlessly contemplate that and never get bored, or for the sportive ones jogging along the shore. There’s a lot to see there, and every corner of those rock formations invites one to take a unusual picture, even the few plants. On the way back, we stopped at a guesthouse to refresh ourselves.
Looking for a way of improving lighting and texturing in my 3d art led me to start taking photos and compare them with my work and became quite fond of photography as a hobby, to the point of visiting photography websites, looking for cameras and lens reviews, learning the principles of photography…
Since then, every time I go out on different occasions, I look around trying to figure out the best points of view of the surroundings. I don’t know if my future lies with photography, but that’s a thing I do with passion and really like to learn more about.
