Ruth Yates is based in Australia, Melbourne, she covers all areas, wherever her photography takes her. She also runs a home studio where she covers her portriature work. She is married with 3 grown up kids. Ruth has studied a lot of different areas of photography and has completed a course and gained a certificate of completion with The Proud Photography Association, resulting in 100% pass. She is a self taught photographer and continues to study photography as she feels she can never know too much. Ruth has long had a passion for photography, she specializes in landscape and now has taken photography in other areas such as portraiture, pets, car shows, realestate and commercial work. She loves to travel and take pictures of people and places, her camera never leaves her sight. Some may call her obsessed but she calls it a passion. Her goal has always been to be as good as she can be, achieve the best that she can achieve, to always have the desire and the passion. To be able to capture the beautiful, spontaneous and ever changing beauty of our amazing world, which we sometimes take for granted. Photography is her passion in everyway. It is a part of her that never stops learning and growing. It has opened her eyes to a world of amazing beauty. Like the saying "stop and smell the roses", her saying is "Stop and capture the moment". Ruth feels that if she had this opportunity, it would mean so many things to her, it would be a dream come true. Everything that she believes in, her goals, achievement and passion would all be a part of this amazing learning experience and visiting a place where she would probably never adventure too would be a real eye opener and amazing opportunity to experience different environment, culture and people.
