My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

My name is Lindsay, I am 23 and originate from the Scottish Highlands. I graduated two years ago from Stirling University with a truly interesting and enjoyable degree in film and media with French. The pursuit of a career related to this (so far unfruitful, but that does not matter) has moved me to The Isle of Wight, Glasgow, Callander, Orkney, Edinburgh, Manchester, London, Amsterdam and back to my parental home in the Aviemore area, where I currently clean holiday chalets for a living. Though I love to photograph the everyday and to some the banal, I feel a notion whenever I visit a new place that I simply must take a part of it with me, and photographs are far superior to any fridge magnet. If I were chosen it would give me a chance to work on my craft as a photographer,work under some of the best in the industry, and give me a chance of landing a career encompassing my two biggest passions: photography and travel.
