The strange architectural shapes here caught my eye. The circular addition to the mosque in front, gave depth to the minaret at the back. Set against the stark blue sky of the desert, it really felt like I had traveled back a thousand years.

A magnificent sunset captured over the crumbling old city of Shali in Siwa. I have added a little to the contrast curves here, but otherwise the scene is as taken.

A water jug beautifully placed in the window frame. I cloned out a shadow on the back wall to give the photo a cleaner look, but the colors are exactly as taken due to the exact kelvin setting results I had in mind; a rich orange glow.
