My Scholarship entry - New Mexico Rocks

I am an aspiring National Geographic photographer. If I were to win this scholarship, I am sure that my photographic skills would reach new heights. In the process, I would have a great adventure in a place that I might not get to visit otherwise. And have the opportunity to take photos of it all to share with the rest of the world.
In the meantime, I am a freelance nature and landscape photographer with a particular interest in birds and aerial mountain photography. I always have a camera in my hand and take photos of anything that moves and anything that doesn't. I do stock photography and I have some published travel articles. Striking photos go a long way towards making a travel article more appealing to possible publishers or editors. It is in my nature to know the names of all flowers, animals, mountains, places, etc. and to document all photos with their appropriate title.
I am in good health and take no medications. I can walk long distances without a problem. Therefore, I look forward to winning this scholarship and setting off on a great new experience with a renowned expert.
P.S. I was born in 1948 but was unable to select that.
