Jackson's Chameleons are believed by many to be native species of Hawaii. This may be due to them being part of the islands' fauna for the last four decades, after being brought from Africa.
Despite chameleons being very difficult to see, this unfrightened male was found in the Twin Falls, on the Hana Road, in Maui, Hawaii.
