Hi my name is Mark Fox I am 23 years old I'm a amateur Photographer from Australia. I have completed my diploma in Photography. I love photography and traveling and would love to become a real photojournalist one day. I am very well traveled and been traveling since I was very little.
My passion for traveling and experiencing different countries it's people and their culture fascinates me I like exploring and traveling to of the beating track destinations especially around Asia getting interesting cultures shot of local people. I have photographed such places like rural villages in Thailand. I have traveled to India I found India the most interesting sites, smells and the colors, people are the most amazing subjects to capture everything seems to all happens at once so many interesting subjects to take.
National Geographic Photography has greatly been my inspiration and one day hopefully I would love to get my photos up to the standards of National Geographic material. To be a National Geographic Photographer is my dream job with lots of practice maybe one day I can achieve this dream goal in life.
If I get this scholarship with Jason Edwards to Oman this would be the greatest opportunity for me to build up a good port folio that has storytelling images particularly people shots and I know that this will help me on the right path getting the professional skills as a photojournalist with the professional skills teach to me.
I would love to be chosen for this wonderful scholarship with Jason Edwards to Oman as I have the passion for capturing world's cultures, it's people and capturing photos that tells a story, Oman sounds like a very interesting and colorful country filled with interesting subjects and culture.
Thank you
Mark Fox
