Julaaay!

Lamma Island was a destination that I had never heard off. It doesn't fall in any traveler's wish list nor is it heavily featured in either top 100 or even a top 1000 must visit places before you die. So when I stumbled upon it thanks to a tip off from a fellow traveler, I decided to showcase the beauty of this lesser known land. Albeit a bit touristy, I aimed this video at my Indian friends and my Indian audience who disregard asian destinations (asian destinations even now are about massages with happy endings). I hope this video goes a long way to change this mindset and make them realize that Lamma is just the tip of an ice berg.

So bringing about this kind of mindset change is what I hope to achieve with my work as a travel film maker. Exposing my own kind to newer landscapes, cultures, colors, people, stories etc. is what I hope would materialize by winning this scholarship.
