Even when I don't have a camera, I have a tendency to look at things around me through frames. My friends call me weird, i call this practicing.
At the beginning, my only interest was nature photography and I have spent days hiding and waiting to get what I imagined as a perfect shoot. Now, my photographic interests have moved towards social and environmental change. As an youth delegate, I had a chance to participate in a number of UN climate conferences, which brought me to participate in a study visit to Svalbard two years ago. Harsh environments, endless landscapes and surreal colors gave me a bad case of „polar fewer“ and I fell in love with Arctic – my dream now is to become a photographer specialized in Arctic, both people and nature. This was also the first time my photos were published in a publication and I promised myself at that point to dedicate my time to communicate environmental and social impact of climate change.

I am still lacking adequate training in photography. I have never been formally educated in photography and I feel professional mentorship that is offered here will help me make a greater impact in raising awareness about the environmental issues.
