My name is Peder Rodrigo, twenty-two years old and as far back as I can remember I've always been able to jump into a moment captured by a photograph and become a part of it. I haven't seriously considered a career in photography until recently however. I acquired a 03 Canon Rebel from an uncle and began playing around with it this past winter. I hike or jog on almost a daily basis and strive to adventure in new places. Immediately I began taking photos of everywhere and everything. Good feed back from friends/family influenced me to begin looking into a carer in photography. Currently out of school to work full time I am very confused as to what path I want to take. I have a heightened sense of awareness for the human impact on our planet and would love to bring the issue into light. I want to make the public aware of what we are doing and the simple tasks we can preform to make a giant change while capturing the beauty of nature through my own perspectives. To make a positive impact with my own opinions I chose photojournalism as my new adventure and I cant wait to get started but I am not sure what road to take. I am a blank canvas, in need of a mentor and a real opportunity.
